My Journey

I know the feeling of helplessness that comes from trying your best and still failing. Being unsure as to what’s causing the issue. Knowing that I can change that feeling of helplessness into confidence drives my passion to help these individuals to succeed. They’re not as incapable as they fear. With the right guidance and motivation, you will be amazed at how much they can achieve.   

I was shocked when I received 24% in my year 8 end of year exam for Maths. So I decided to make some serious changes and dedicated year 9 to improving my maths, in particular.

I achieved outstanding results at GCSEs/iGCSEs, securing A* grades across all subjects I tutor. At A-Levels, I studied Maths, Physics, Electronics and Economics. The knowledge and expertise accumulated from 7 years of tutoring has enabled me to engage and utilise strategies designed specifically to be effective for YOUR child. I want to help students realise their true potential and believe that GCSEs are the perfect time to do so.

Passion For Teaching

In the past, I've successfully tutored A-level students. However, for this particular project, I've chosen to dedicate my efforts exclusively to students studying for their GCSEs.

I strongly believe that the GCSE phase is the ideal time to invoke a transformative shift. My work involves helping GCSE students who are struggling, to not just improve their grades, but also enhance their confidence and self-belief. We work together to cultivate productive habits and discover effective learning techniques tailored to their unique needs. These efforts significantly shape their future trajectories.

A robust foundation at the GCSE level is essential, as it becomes exceedingly difficult to rectify gaps in understanding at the A-Level stage.

My overarching goal is to influence students in such a way that their perspective turns positive, fostering a growth in their self-belief. This, in turn, empowers them to take on more complex and rewarding tasks.

There's no greater satisfaction for me than hearing back from my previous students who are now pursuing degrees in subjects they once detested. They no longer see themselves as victims of their circumstances but as active participants in their own success, consistently striving for greater accomplishments in their lives.
